All existing members of the Institute are required to transit their membership from ISOWN to Chartered status; C-ISOWN , hence are required to obtain and fill membership validation form. You are required to;

a. Attach copies of all Academic Credentials

b. Professional Credentials

c. Membership Certificate

d. Proficiency Certificate (where applicable)

   Members in good standing (up to date):

e. May be recommended for Direct Transition, while

f. Non up to date members will undergo an existing Members Refreshers Programme which refresher certificate will be awarded to successful candidates and they are re-inducted at various Chapters.

New membership categories will be issued based on existing qualifications and experiences of each member.

ORDER OF GRADING

Members shall be inducted and licensed into Three (3) Categories:

1. Officer Cadre: with specializations

2. Executive Cadre: with and without specialization

3. Auxiliary Cadre

 

QUALIFICATION FOR CADRE PLACEMENTS

1.   Officer Cadre

i.            Bachelor degree in Social Work

ii.           Bachelor degree in related fields with Master’s in Social Work

iii.          HND in Social Work/Social Development with Master degree in Social Work

2.  Executive Cadre

i.           HND in Social Work/Social Development

ii.           HND in related fields with PGD in Social Work

3.  Auxiliary Cadre

i.            Auxiliary Social Work Certificate/Diploma

ii.           Diploma in Social Work/Social Development
